one feat i’m particularly proud of is my ability to avoid huge hit pop songs for long periods of time.
i was able to go almost 5 years after it came out before i heard the “macarena” song. i’m sure i could have gone longer but unfortunately i had little choice when i had to attend a wedding and inevitably fell victim to cheesy reception music.
today i eclipsed my former record when, for the very first time… six years after the fact… i was watching video yearbook and heard the “milkshake” song. yeah, can’t say i was missing much there either.
i love this brand of ignorant bliss…
see ya in about 2013… when i probably stumble across that umbrella, ella, ella song for the first time.
